Frequently asked questions

Will a solar power system pay off for my business?

It depends on your consumption profile - which is why we measure it first. We ask for your electricity bills from the last 12 months, read your real monthly consumption from them, and size a system that matches what you actually use. The best results are for businesses that consume electricity during the day, while the system is producing: manufacturing sites running one or two shifts.

What's the warranty on the system?

We provide a 2-year warranty on our installation work. Equipment is covered by the manufacturers’ factory warranties (Trina Solar, Huawei) - typically a multi-year product warranty and a performance warranty on the panels for their full service life. Exact figures per component are stated in the quotation and on the Equipment page.

How long does installation take?

A 30 kW system is installed in about 5 working days. Larger systems take proportionally longer. The complete project - from signing the contract, through the grid-connection procedure, to commissioning - typically takes 3 to 6 months, with most of that time spent on the connection procedure.

What do you need from us to prepare a quotation?

Three things: electricity bills for the last 12 months, the site location, and the grid connection conditions. With that information, you get a quotation with a savings simulation in 2-3 days.

If the system covers half my connected capacity, does my bill drop by half?

Not necessarily - and that's the most common misconception. Savings don't depend on installed capacity, but on how well the system's production overlaps with your consumption during the day. Electricity you use while the system is producing is saved directly; any surplus goes to the grid under a different, less favorable calculation. That's why we size the system to your real consumption profile, not to your connected capacity.

Do you also work with homeowners?

Yes. Most of our work is businesses and industry, but we build systems for homeowners too - a smaller system goes through the same engineering process as a large one: sizing from real consumption, engineering design, our own crews and the grid-connection procedure. See the For homeowners page.

Does the grid operator buy back the surplus?

No. Under the prosumer model, surplus electricity isn't sold - it's effectively "stored" in the grid and drawn back later, during periods of lower production (winter or night).

What system size do I need?

It depends on your consumption and load profile. We size the exact capacity from 12 months of electricity bills - so the system is neither oversized nor undersized. There is no preset lower limit: the result follows your consumption and your building.

What determines the price of a solar power system?

System capacity, roof and structure type, cable run lengths, and inverter choice. That's why we don't publish flat prices - send us your consumption and location data and you'll get a concrete quotation in 2-3 days.

What if production drops?

The system is monitored through a production-monitoring app, so a drop in output is diagnosed quickly. Our service team comes on site and resolves the issue.

Which solar panels are the most efficient?

High-power monocrystalline panels. We install Trina Solar and LONGi modules from 430 to 725 W, with efficiency up to ~23%, paired with Huawei inverters - specifications and datasheets are on the Equipment page.

Do solar panels pay off in Serbia?

Yes. Solar irradiation in Serbia is more than sufficient, panels have a service life of 25-30 years, and the payback period is typically much shorter - we calculate the exact ROI from your annual consumption profile before the quotation.
