A separate solution, not a replacement for a rooftop system: a carport that brings together the canopy or parking space, solar panels, battery storage and EV charging. It does not depend on how your roof faces, because the structure is built for the purpose.

On-Grid, hybrid or Off-Grid?
In short - because the right answer depends on your consumption, which we measure before making a recommendation.
On-Grid
most common choiceRuns in parallel with the grid: what you use immediately is saved, surplus is fed into the grid. No batteries, the lowest cost per kW and the shortest payback.
Hybrid
with battery storageAdds battery storage: part of the day's surplus is kept for the evening. A more expensive system, but greater independence and backup during outages.
Off-Grid
no grid connectionFully independent from the grid - all consumption comes from panels and batteries. Justified only where a grid connection is unavailable or not cost-effective.

Do you build systems for ordinary homes?
Yes. We size home systems from real consumption and the conditions of the building, using the same engineering process as an industrial one: engineering design, our own installation crews and the complete grid-connection procedure. Smaller home systems are currently delivered on an individual enquiry. The same approach applies to larger properties, estates, carports with EV chargers and joint investments by several households.
What do On-Grid, hybrid and Off-Grid mean?
An On-Grid system runs in parallel with the grid and feeds surplus into it - the most cost-effective and most common choice. A hybrid system adds batteries, storing some surplus for the evening. Off-Grid is fully independent from the grid - justified only where a connection is unavailable or not cost-effective.
Does IC Solar handle the subsidy application?
Support programs for homeowners do exist, but the conditions and the procedure follow whichever public call is currently open, and they differ between municipalities. Check the current terms with the body running the call. What we can do is prepare the technical solution and the quotation for your property - see the Subsidies page, or get in touch.
What's the warranty?
The same as for businesses: 2 years on installation work, plus the manufacturers' factory warranties on the panels and inverter. Exact figures per component are provided in the quotation.
